All India Video Message Contest - TERI

'All India Video Message Contest' which is being organised by TERI for undergraduate and post graduate students. This is a unique opportunity where students can showcase their concern about the issue of climate change. Participation in this contest is a gateway to several forthcoming TERI events, including a webinar on International Youth Day (12 August 2021).



Video Message Contest
(Creating awareness as part of supporting enhancement in achieving India’s NDC ambition)
Age group: 15-25 years
We live in a digital world, and youth are its key players. TERI invite you to share your views on ‘responsive climate action’ through a ‘video message contest’.
All participants will receive certificates, and selected winning entries will also win an opportunity to speak during the webinar to be organised on International Youth Day 2021.

Guidelines
Participants are required to submit 1- 2 minute video message. Only 1 entry per participant is allowed. Duration of the message should be 120 seconds (Size limit: 10 MB) excluding 5 second title screen which should clearly mention: Name of the student, School/ College; Title of the video (a catchy tagline of not more than 15 words).
Participants have to record a video message on any one of following themes:
1. Policy to practice: Role of youth and communities in mitigating climate change
2. Can behavioural changes and lifestyle shifts help in mitigating climate change?
3. Advancement in technology is the only way to tackle climate crisis
4. Going back to our roots: Can indigenous wisdom guide us to address climate change?
Audio message should be in English and can be supported with pictures.
Please record your video message from a cell phone positioned vertically, as shown below:
Applicant should submit an original video message that conveys his / her understanding of the theme. The video message should convey hopeful and meaningful messages. It should be devoid of doomsday prophecies. Obscene, provocative, or otherwise objectionable content will not be considered.
All information presented in the video message must be cited, giving credit to the original source. Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification.
By participating in the contest, all applicants grant permission to the organisers to reproduce the video messages in their original or updated form, without any notification, permission, fee or any other form of compensation. However, video messages will be credited to applicants.
Under current circumstances we do not recommend any student to step out of their household premises to perform any outdoor activity under the project.
All expenses incurred during recording process will have to be borne by the participants.
Jury decision will be final.

 Deadline to submit the entry is 5 August 2021.
