Infosys Ingenious is an annual competition for select business schools in India, aimed at discovering the most innovative management students in the country. Conceptualized in 2008 as a case-study challenge, Ingenious has since evolved to include a variety of formats like quizzes, simulations, and business plans.
In its 12th edition this year, Ingenious will be an inter-college, team-based competition spread over four rounds with the Grand Finale to be held at Infosys headquarters in Bangalore. The competition will be open for both first and second year management students of all specializations from eligible business schools in India.

An inter-college qualifying quiz round
Round 1 - Qualifying quiz
August 8 - 20, 2019
8 Multiple choice questions based quizzes over two weeks.
Top 250 teams will move to Round 2.
The duel
Round 2 - The duel
August 26 - 28, 2019
Each team will select an opponent from 30 teams for one-on-one online quiz.
9 Quizzes over three days.
Top 30 teams will move to Round 3.
Online case-study competition
Round 3 - Case study challenge
August 30 – September 5, 2019
Teams to submit case-study solution in presentation and video form.
Top 5 teams will move to the final round.
B-plan competition
Final Round - B-plan presentation
First week of October, 2019
Based on the assigned theme, teams to present a business plan to an esteemed jury.
Top 2 teams will emerge as the winner and runner-up of Ingenious 2019.
Grand Finale to be hosted at Infosys, Bangalore.
