Electric Solar Vehicle Championship (ESVC) Junior - School Students

ESVC-JUNIOR is a National level solar energy education program and championship for 6th – 12th standard school students. Student teams design, build and race high performance solar powered remote controlled cars. ISIEINDIA organizing this event in 200+ regional centers at college for 10000 school teams with at least one teacher/mentor in a team for the common vision to prepare students for future from the beginning. The regional winners will compete in final.

Practical Learning

ESVC-JUNIOR challenges students to use scientific know-how, creative thinking, experimentation and teamwork to design and build high-performance solar electric vehicles. Students learn by doing.

Today's Need

Transportation in the India is expected to change radically in response to environmental constraints, fluctuating oil availability and economic factors. The transportation systems that emerge in the 21st century will be defined largely by the choices, skills and imagination of today’s youth.

Inspire Youth

As scientists and engineers, they will develop new vehicle and fuel technologies. As citizens, they will make decisions balancing mobility, environmental and economic needs.

Building solar- and battery-powered cars requires skills in both math and science. The goals of the competition include: Generating enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, and maths , Improving students’ understanding of scientific concepts and renewable energy technologies & encouraging young people to consider technical careers at an early age.
