Are you part of a college or university in Kerala with a creative and engaging college magazine? Here is an opportunity to showcase your institution's publication at the All Kerala College Magazine Competition 2026, organised as part of the 4th Edition of the Amala National Book Festival 2026.
The competition is being conducted by the Department of Library & Research Documentation and Padma Bhushan Fr. Gabriel Central Library, Amala Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Thrissur, in collaboration with NDLI, Government of India, and other Amala institutions.
All Kerala College Magazine Competition 2026
The competition aims to identify the Best College Magazine in Kerala and will award the Padma Bhushan Fr. Gabriel Award to the winning college magazine.
The competition is open to colleges and departments of universities across Kerala.

Prizes
The winning college magazines will receive the following prizes:
- ๐ฅ First Prize: Books worth ₹10,000 + Memento
- ๐ฅ Second Prize: Books worth ₹5,000 + Memento
- ๐ฅ Third Prize: Books worth ₹3,000 + Memento
- ๐️ Consolation Prizes: Books worth ₹1,000 each for 2 winners
The prizes will be distributed at a public function scheduled for September 24, 2026 (Thursday) at 2:30 PM.
Eligibility
All colleges and departments of universities in Kerala can participate in the competition.
According to the competition rules, the college magazine submitted must be the latest magazine published by the college. Magazines published before the 2024–25 academic year will not be considered.
