Eco State poster competition 2023

What does an “ecological country” mean for you and how to fight for such a great idea against corrupted political structures? How can a country be greener and more careful about its natural environment and how to force those in power to fulfil the green agenda?


ENTRANT CRITERIA
“Ecologycal Country” a new themed competition that is a part of the World Biennial of Student Poster, organized by the University of Novi Sad and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. It is open to all undergraduate and graduate students of art colleges where the discipline of poster art is a part of the curriculum.

COMPETITIVE CATEGORIES
Subject: “Ecologycal Country”.
Only students at academies and colleges of arts where the discipline of poster art is part of the curriculum have the right to participate at the competition. One can take part with three posters at most.

HOW TO APPLY
Poster entries MUST be submitted via this website as digital files, using the online ENTRY FORM. Through the electronic submission process, an entry form and labels will be automatically generated. Information on the entry form will be used in the exhibition’s catalog and other Biennial publications.

ENTRY GUIDELINES
All posters must be submitted digitally through this Web site, using the online ENTRY FORM.
Convert your Poster files to meet these condition:
JPG - quality 10, RGB - 8 Bits/channel, 3900 pixels on the longer side
The file size must not exceed 12 MB
DO NOT SEND PRINTED COPIES. The WBESP will make print-outs for jury review, as well as exhibition prints of winning posters.
There is no entry fee to the Biennial competition.
Each student can participate with three (3) posters.

'MERI KALPANA'
If seen, there is no end to our imagination, we all have the freedom to think. Every person has their own imagination, but the artist has the power to present their imagination through their painting. The thinking of an artist is the mirror of society. With this thought, the theme of this year's competition has been kept 'Meri Kalpana' so that all artists through their imagination can present their art on canvas in such a way that it can give a new look to society.

Eligibilities / Who Can Participate
Minimum age of 18 years is eligible to participate.
All professional artists, school-college teachers and students, academics, students of fine arts institutes, and art lovers, anybody who has an inclination for painting.
Members of the 'Selection Committee' are not allowed to participate.

Artwork Size
The painting must be between a minimum of 12 X 18 inches to a maximum of 36 X 48 inches.
Medium to be Used
You can choose any medium
You can use only Ivory Sheet, Cartridge Sheet or Canvas for surface
Glitter or decoration material cannot be pasted or used in artwork

Summer camp on Entrepreneurial Stimulation for Children

Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) conducts residential camps on entrepreneurship and achievement for young students with the basic objective to make them entrepreneurial in life and career. While our inputs and counselling have been widely appreciated by participants, their parents, and teachers, the real credit goes to our well-wishers like you who have always encouraged and supported us by circulating information about our summer camps for the benefit of the students, who participate in it.


This year 'Children Camp' is scheduled from May 07 - 12 and May 27 to June 01, 2023. The objective of this camp is to inculcate the spirit of enterprise and achievement among children at a ripe age. It will benefit those studying in standard 7th to 10th and are in the age group of 12 to 16 years. 

Since focus is on activitie8, there is no language bar. However, participants are expected to communicate in either English, Hindi or Gujandi.
• The entire group will be divided Into two sub-groups of 12 to 14 (Group - A) ,..,. and 14 to 11
(Group -B) ,....
The camp will be organized at the award-winning EDII Campus, Ahmadabad. Well-equipped, AC
classrooms with modem amenities will be made available. Participants would be accommodated in AC rooms on a twin - sharing basis.


'Youth Camp' is scheduled from May 14 - 23 and June 03 – 12, 2023. The objective of Youth Camp is to help youth identify a challenging and innovative career option and plan it entrepreneurially.

With a view to enable active use of technology to strengthen emergency response services, especially for safety of women in public places, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has implemented a project titled ‘Emergency Response Support System (ERSS)’. Government of India has notified 112 as a pan-India, single, internationally recognized number for various emergencies such as police, fire, ambulance, etc., with computer-aided dispatch of field resources accessible through calls, SMS, e-mail, panic button and the 112 India mobile app. This emergency service has now been operationalized in all States/UTs.


Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with MyGov invites creative ideas in the form of Jingle, MP3 Format from the creative minds of the nation to join the Nation’s Safety and participate in the Jingle Making Competition on the Theme - “One India, One Emergency Number – Dial 112”.

Note :- The competition is open for all citizens.

Technical Parameter:
1. Participants need to provide a script (In PDF Format) & jingle of 45 seconds, that is easily understandable, is peppy, and connects with the public at large.
2. The participants should upload their entry as a high-quality audio file on Google Drive and enter the publicly accessible link in the comments section. Open the link for viewers to see.
3. Both the Jingle and Script should be in a zipped folder on Google Drive.

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with MyGov invites creative ideas in the form of Reels / Short Video, in MP4, MOV Format, from the creative minds of the nation to join the Nation’s Safety and participate in the Reel Making Competition on the Theme - “One India, One Emergency Number – Dial 112”.

Note: - The competition is open for all citizens.

Technical Parameter:
1. The length of the reel should not exceed more than 45 seconds.
2. The size of the attachment should not exceed 2 MB at MyGov.
3. Computer-generated or computer-altered/morphed videos (other than basic system work) will be disqualified.
4. The hashtags to be used for the reels, should be #ReelingwithDial112

Manthan is a digital platform developed by the Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India topromote collaboration at scale between industry and the scientific research and innovation ecosystem to help meet India’s national targets and United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This platform aims to empower various stakeholders to scale up the interactions with researchers/innovators and facilitate R&D/innovation, share challenges focused on emerging technologies, other scientific interventions, as well as those with a social impact.


To give momentum to Manthan platform, the office of Principal Scientific Adviser, Government of India has decided to organise an Open Poster Making Competition through MyGov Portal with an aim to generate awareness about research and innovation ecosystem and explore the creative instinct of the masses.

Competition Guidelines/Terms and Conditions:
1. The Competition will be open to all.
2. The participants in this online Poster Making Competition may use A3 or A4 sheet for the Poster.
3. Write-up text (slogan) of the Poster should be submitted in readable font of Hindi/English and it should be written on the poster itself.
4. It should be ensured that the uploaded poster must be clearly visible.

1. The video duration should not exceed 60 seconds.
2. The video can be submitted with or without voiceover.
3. The slides should be self-explanatory or supported with captions.
4. It should cover the essence of the Manthan platform.
5. Each slide should have the O/o PSA and Manthan Logo.
6. The colour tone should be formal in nature adhering to the colour scheme of Manthan.
7. It must cover all the important features and pillars of Manthan.
