Coin a Name for the portal of National Mission on Cultural Mapping

Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has established, “National Mission on Cultural Mapping” (NMCM) to envision and address the necessity of preserving the threads of rich Indian Art and Cultural Heritage. Through “Cultural Mapping” NMCM aids in creating a consolidated database/repository of information about cultural assets and resources i.e. cultural inventory at one place for essential planning, sustainable economic development and for preserving the scattered and extinct art forms. Cultural assets and resources include various art forms, individual artists, artists’ community, cultural organisations, cultural spaces and facilities, creative cultural industries, festivals & events, heritage properties, landmarks etc.

NMCM proposes to endow a popular name to the Mission portal by inviting entries through an open Contest on MyGov platform of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
