MyGov.in Science Quiz : India International Science Fesitval -2019

Science Quiz is being organised on MyGov.in quiz portal on the occasion of India  International Science Fesitval -2019

India International Science Festivals (IISF) launched in 2015 is a celebration to promote Science and Technology and demonstrate how science could lead India towards a developed nation within a short span of time. The aim is to engage public with shows how Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) provide us with the solutions to improve our lives.

The Ministry of Science & Technology, the Ministry of Earth Science and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in association with VijnanaBharati (VIBHA), have created a unique platform of India International Science Festivals which intends to inspire curiosity and make learning more rewarding. The goal of the science festivity is to help youth, develop 21st century skills, with a focus on scientific knowledge, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. One long-term objective is to encourage students to study and work in scientific fields. The focus on the myriad faces behind some of the fascinating discoveries will thus, inject scientific attitude in the masses and will give us the power to create new possibilities. Once we get young people interested in acquiring new knowledge, asking questions, and starting the quest for the answers, we will accomplish our goal. India International Science Festival is a science outreach marathon and not a science sprint. We hope, this effort will fuel India’s drive toward becoming Vishwa Guru.

5th International Cartoon and Film-Strip Contest

Green Cross Belarus
The State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education Moscow Institute of Open Education (SAEI HE MIOE) “Centre for Continuous Art Education”
With the information support of the Union of Teachers-Artists
within the framework of the project «In my homeland”

ANNOUNCE

the 5th International Cartoon and Film-Strip Contest

New time brings new opportunities. Digital photos and computers facilitated greatly the hard work on filming cartoons and slidefilms and opened a page of animated cartoons made at school and home. Currently, there is a unique niche for little and young artists and their teachers to express their creative ideas in a form of a cartoon and a slidefilm.

Topics:

"In my Homeland" - the traditional free theme of the competition.
The most interesting works are usually those that are associated with personal impressions, experiences and events. Try to take a closer glance at the world around you and reflect in the works the moments, which does not leave you indifferent. It may be something unusual or, on the contrary, familiar to everyone. After all, re-discovering the usual things is also the task of the Maker.

«The Harvest»
Since ancient times, artists and architects have used the image of a cornucopia filled with fruits, images of garlands with vegetables and fruits as symbols of prosperity and wealth. A good harvest and well-being are concepts that always go alongside. Each person has his own personal images and memories associated with the harvest: the very first, most delicious harvest in summer cottages, a trip to the vitamin shop to the market, Honey Fest or an abundance of earthly fruits at the Harvest festival, the smell of raspberry or cherry jam, full baskets of forest gifts - berries and mushrooms...

The participants of our competition live in different parts of the world: somewhere the northern cloudberry grows well, somewhere watermelons and melons, olives and dates, pineapples and bananas grow... And we are sure that your drawings on the crop theme will show how the Earth on which we live is generous and rich - you only need to be able to see it.
You can also make screen versions of the texts that were written by children and grownups especially for children animation and strip films and became the winners of the literary contest "In My Homeland" in 2017 (in Russian)
