Celebrating 150 Years of IMD: Participate in the Badge Designing Contest
As the India Meteorological Department (IMD) celebrates a historic milestone of 150 years of service to the nation on 15th January 2025, it reflects on its legacy as a pioneer in meteorology, weather forecasting, and climate monitoring in India. Established in 1875, IMD has played a pivotal role in advancing modern physical science, supporting disaster preparedness, and serving the nation with accuracy and dedication.
To mark this momentous occasion, IMD, in collaboration with MyGov, invites creative minds across the country to participate in the IMD Badge Designing Contest. This is a unique opportunity to blend creativity with purpose by crafting a meaningful badge that embodies IMD’s vision, mission, and core values.
