Students Youth Conference ( SYC)

Students Youth Conference – A Parliamentary Debate is an academic Simulation of Indian Parliament in its form and content, it is an initiative to engage youth in an healthy discussion and debate and to expose them to current affairs topics in national interest relations, diplomacy and concerning agendas. In Youth Parliament participants take on the the role of member of parliament representing the spectrum of Indian Politics forming part of the ruling coalition or the opposition. Agenda for consideration and passing, the agenda to be put for consideration and passing will be available to the participants prior to the meeting. However, other issues of national interest will also be allowed to to be raised and discuss in the discussion hour and zero hour at the discretion of the speaker
Rules & Regulations
1) Participants must Carry valid ID Card of the current Academic Year 2
) Minimum Age 16
3) Sitting Arrangement and pariliamentary members
4) The layout of the SYC event will resemble as far as possible to the layout of the chamber of the Lok Sabha
5) The ruling party sit on the right side of the chair while the opposition and other party sit on the left of the chair. Both sides shall be more or less equal in numbers
6) Choice of sides will be limited and will be alloted as per the discretion of the organisations
7) Draw of lots, There will be draw of lots before the event to decide who is going to represent opposition and government
8) Language, Both English and Hindi are allowed in all the proceedings of the house
9) Statement from the house, after establishing qourum the speaker of the house will ask from statements from the members
10) Dress Code :- Attire Indian/western Formals, However Indian Wear is encouraged
11) Laptops and Phones access is allowed during the session
12) Unparliamentary Language is strictly prohibited.
 Please Note that SYC shall not allow any statement against Religion, Caste or Culture or any personal Comment on any member or acts of government in any particular. The same shall lead to expulsion of honourable member from the house for a time period which speaker thinks suitable.

Eligibility  Student enrolled in any course of bachelors and above are allowed to participate except any professionals. Participants must enrolled individually and not in teams/groups.

 Entry Fees
 Entry Fees will be 350 /- per participant. ( This includes Lunch, High Tea, Kit & participation Certificate)
Registration & Payment Process 
 Participants have to fill a google form to register themselves for the SYC afterwhich they will be added to a participants WhatsApp Group for further Communication.  Participants can pay their entry fees i.e 350 INR through Cash, Paytm, Phonepe & Google Pay on 9769876239 ( Rtr. Anupam Pandey)
