QUIZ ON MONIYA SE MAHATMA TAK

The Moniya se Mahatma tak Quiz is being organized by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India in association with Doordarshan, the Public service broadcaster, Government of India.
The quiz shall open on August 22, 2019 at 12:00 hrs (1ST) and will close at 20:00 hrs (IST) on September 10, 2019. 
Entries received outside of these time/dates will not be valid.
The quiz will be categorized for two age groups of participants.
 One for the age group of 16 to 30years (Moniya Category) and another for 50-70years (Mahatma Category). 
The participant shall be eligible to play in their respective age category only. 
One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not be considered and will be discarded.
If any participant plays the quiz, yet he/she is not lying within the stipulated age category, shall be disqualified.You will be required to provide your name, date of birth, email address and telephone number.

The quiz can be played in Hindi/English language.Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn.
After three weeks, 24 participants (4 top scorers from the six zones) from the Moniya Category and 24 participants (4 top scorers from the six zones) from Mahatma Category will be selected. The selected winners will be called to Delhi for the next rounds. The tickets for to and fro travel will be reimbursed, later (Terms and conditions will be sent to the candidates who will be selected). The accommodation and food facilities will be provided by the organizers.

To increase awareness about skill competitions, an online quiz competition will be conducted by Skill India mission in collaboration with MyGov from 21st to 27th August 2019.

Questions for the quiz are primarily based on WorldSkills 2019 & other platforms associated with it. The quiz will start as soon as you click the ‘Start’ button.

Terms and Conditions
Each participant needs to create individual account on MyGov to appear for the Quiz.
 An individual is permitted to participate only once in the quiz.
Duration of the quiz will be 3 minutes (180 Seconds) during which a maximum of 6 questions can be answered.Quiz once started cannot be paused / stopped.
Participants are advised to take the Quiz well before the Quiz end date to avoid any last-minute technical glitches.Only Indian Citizen can participate in the quiz. 
Each participant will receive certificate of participation which can be downloaded from ‘Downloads Section’ of MyGov Quiz platform. The downloads section will be visible only after logging in to the website.
Thirty (30) top scoring candidates will receive the jersey and caps of Team India, like what they will use during the WorldSkills International Competition, scheduled in Kazan, Russia from 22nd to 27th August 2019.
The criteria for selecting successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time”. 
In case of tie, random selection will be done.After the closure of the quiz, and prior to the announcement of results, top-scoring students shall be required to provide their Name, Government issued proof of identity and their postal address in order to send the prizes to them.

As an important step to catalyse a cultural shift in youth for entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has instituted the National Entrepreneurship Awards (NEA) to recognize and honour outstanding young first generation entrepreneurs and their Ecosystem Builders for their outstanding contribution in entrepreneurship development.

To accelerate the momentum of NEA2019, this online Quiz contest is being conducted by MSDE in coordination with MyGov from 21th August- 30th August, 2019 to find out how much you know about entrepreneurship.

Eligibility
  • be age of eighteen or younger (18); and
  • have a teacher (“Teacher”) or parent/legal guardian (“Guardian”) who is over eighteen (18) years of age and will provide parental consent to enter the Contest and grant the rights set forth herein.
Contest Period

Math Olympiad

Little Star Mathematics Olympiad has been designed to provide the foundation children need to succeed in elementary school and beyond. For example, number sense, or the basic learning about numbers. It is the first vital math skill a child must develop before reaching elementary level. Children must learn to count forwards and backwards early in childhood to learn the relationship between numbers in the future.

“Child Rights”.
2. The Terms and Conditions to participate in the competition are as follows:-
i. Entries are invited for Stamp Design Competition. The participants are to make an original design on this subject (should not be copy of picture painted by someone else).
ii. Students of Classes I to XII can participate in this contest. The design could be in ink, water colour, oil colour or any other medium (computer printed/printout will not be allowed). The design submitted should be such that can be depicted on the stamps in a visually appealing manner.
iii. Participants are free to use drawing paper, art paper or any other type of white paper of A4 Size.

The submission will be in a form of an essay focusing on one case study. Participants are free to choose a case, which focuses on various forms and models of private sector participation in the water and sanitation sector and analyse gaps in human rights protection and impact on the realization of
the human rights to water and sanitation.

2,000 words in word document (including footnotes, page numbers, heading)

The UN Special Rapporteur will invite the winner to join him during an expert consultation, to discuss the impact of private sector participation in the water and sanitation sectors on the human

The winner will be announced on 2 October 2019.

Logo and Tagline Designing Contest for “Mahatma Gandhi Quiz App”

With the celebrations of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi are reaching at its horizons of zeal and enthusiasm, Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti is adding one more way to modulate the frequencies of community with the “My life is my message“ quote of Mahatma.

Now, GSDS is soon coming up with the multiplayer “Mahatma Gandhi Mobile Quiz App”. The basic intention behind launching the Application is to connect the people with the teachings of Mahatma and there in widening the user engagement through digital platform.
As, the application belongs to the people so, GSDS, is inviting entries from the people of different walks of life for a logo and tagline (not more than 6 words) specially designed for the quiz App.

The logo and tag must be in well context with the philosophies and constructive works of Mahatma Gandhi.

The Designer of the finally selected Logo will get a prize of Rs.25,000 and the finally selected tagline will get a prize of Rs.15,000 and would be required to give copyright of the design tagline to GSDS.

A Citizen of any country can participate in it.

MyGov.in Online Space Quiz

To increase awareness about the space programme, an online quiz competition will be conducted by ISRO in coordination with MyGov.in from 10thAugust to 20thAugust,2018.
  1. Each participant needs to create individual account on MyGov to appear for the Quiz. An individual is permitted to participate only once in the quiz.
  2. Duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 Seconds) during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.
  3. Quiz once started cannot be paused / stopped.
  4. Participants are advised to take the Quiz well before the Quiz end date to avoid any last minute technical glitches.
  5. Only Indian Citizen can participate in the quiz. Each participant will receive certificate of participation which can be downloaded from ‘Downloads Section’of MyGov Quiz platform. The downloads section will be visible only after logging in to the website.
  6. Two (2) top scoring Students (from class 8 – 10 only) from each State and Union Territory will be invited to ISRO, Bengaluru Centre to watch the landing of Chandrayaan-2 on the Moon, live along with the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
  1. The criteria for selecting successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time”. In case of tie, random selection will be done.
  2. After the closure of the quiz, and prior to the announcement of results, top-scoring students shall be required to provide their Parent’s/ Guardian’s Name, Government issued proof of identity containing address and an affidavit from the school confirming that they are students of the school. The format of the affidavit will be shared with the shortlisted participants only.
  3. Parents / Guardian may help only in the translation of questions if needed but should not assist in answering the questions. Integrity & Honesty is expected from all participants.
  4. Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/ malpractices including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc. during the participation in the quiz will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.
  5. ISRO reserves the rights to cancel or amend all or any part of the Quiz and/or the Terms and Conditions. However, any changes to the Terms and Conditions or cancellation of the Quiz, will be updated/ posted on the platform.

Design for Change and the FIDS Frameworkd, with its roots in Gandhian principles, was a simple idea started in 2009 by Krian Bir Cethi.

The DFC I CAN School Challenge is open to all school students. The ideal age group is 8 -13 years.

How to?
Make super squads of 5 team members. The submission process involves the following four steps

To complete the process, children must reflect on their experience and map the shift in their attitude
