IBPF believe that mental health education is most effective when it begins in our youth.
Each year IBF host an essay contest for teenagers where IBPF ask them to do research on a particular topic and then perform a specific activity to foster mental health awareness in their communities.
Topic
Although social media can be a powerful tool for connecting with friends and building a sense of community, research indicates that social media usage may negatively affect mental health. What are some ways that you can leverage social media for the greater good in your community?
1. Create a mental health campaign or program using social media to connect with classmates, and explain how you can develop non-screen time activities inside or outside of school.2
Make a plan for launching a social media campaign showing how we can uplift and encourage your classmate’s self-esteem and promote mental wellness.

Poster Contest
The world is getting richer by the minute. Before the internet, we did not have the luxury of instantaneously accessing the entire bank of global knowledge, and reaching nearly any person in the world. This unprecedented ability to connect people exposes us to things and experiences that we’ve never before felt or encountered. As a result, things that once felt strange or threatening to us are now much more familiar and enjoyable. That is the epitome of diversity – our ability to accept different cultures, belief systems, and points of view, regardless of their place of origin.
This is where the young generation is light years ahead of us, and this is a wonderful thing. Born in the digital age they only know of the world where practically any border can be crossed with a click of a mouse. Skyping with a friend across the globe is as natural to them as texting with a neighbor down the street. This is a great new world and this is why we opened this call to young artists – people who are born into many cultures and for whom diversity is a commonplace rather than an oddity

23rd annual Challenge Design: Balancing Sustainability
Movin’On is pleased to announce our theme for the 23rd annual Challenge Design: Balancing Sustainability.
Design a disruptive mobility solution that balances the three recognized pillars of Sustainability: PEOPLE, PROFIT and PLANET
Thanks to your continued support and the participation of the global creative community, Movin’On Challenge Design, inspired by Michelin, is celebrating its 23rd year. Challenge Design is proud to be a featured program of the Movin’On Summit, the world’s foremost gathering for sustainable mobility.
Sustainability, a key driver in the acceleration of mobility transformation, is balanced on the pillars of people, profit, and planet, but many initiatives focus on just one or two pillars. The future movement of people requires creating solutions that meet the needs of stakeholders and ensuring feasibility for implementation. Designers and creatives are uniquely positioned to recognize and present solutions that benefit stakeholders of all three pillars.
The 2023 Movin’On Challenge Design task is to design a disruptive mobility solution that balances the three recognized pillars of sustainability—People, Profit and Planet.
Your design should be a vivid example of safe and efficient mobility that meets the end user expectations and supports a viable business model for movement of people in an environmentally friendly manner.
Your 2023 design solution to this challenge will include the following elements:
Identify the specific urban or suburban area in which your solution will be deployed. Show how the solution can address the interplay between urban and suburban environments in terms of universal application.
Describe the primary purpose of the solution. Consider land, maritime and aviation domains.
Show how each pillar of sustainability is reflected in the design.
Provide a visual representation of your solution (such as digital sketches, graphics, images, renderings, animation or video) showing your design process.
Some references to keep in mind:
Disruptive means having the potential to improve in an exponential way.
A sustainable mobility solution is one that exhibits the attributes of safety, efficiency, accessibility and is environmentally friendly.
Eligibility
We invite artists, designers, engineers, architects, city planners and creatives worldwide to enter either in teams or individually.
The competition is now open for entries and will close February 28, 2023. Entries are judged by a prestigious international jury, including heads of advanced design for major mobility organizations. Winners will be recognized during the 2023 Movin’On Summit in June.
