Cornell University Tata Scholarship for students from India

The Tata Scholarship Fund will support approximately 20 scholars at any given time and will ensure that the very best Indian students have access to Cornell, regardless of their financial circumstances. The scholarship will be awarded annually; recipients will receive the scholarship for the duration of their undergraduate studies at Cornell.

Qualifications

To receive the undergraduate scholarship, a recipient must:

  • be a citizen of India and have attended secondary school in India;
  • be offered admission to Cornell as an undergraduate student;
  • be eligible for need-based financial aid.

Preference will be given to qualified students accepted to the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning; the College of Engineering; the Applied Economics and Management major in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences; and majors across colleges in the biological sciences, physical sciences, and other “hard” sciences, as well as the social sciences.

Application Process

Undergraduate applicants will be eligible for consideration for the Tata Scholarship if they have completed the admission application and have applied for financial aid. All undergraduate applicants must apply for financial aid by completing the financial aid application process for international students.

To apply for international financial aid the following documentation is required:

Complete the College Scholarship Service (CSS) PROFILE (Cornell’s CSS code is 2098).
Additional information may be requested by the Office of Financial Aid.

GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship for Class X students - Study in Singapore

Eligibility
A students of Class X who has secured above 80% in Class IX examination can apply for the scholarship.
The scholarship being offered is for senior secondary level; Classes 11 and 12 for both, IB Diploma Programme and CBSE. However, students undertaking any Board in India can apply for the scholarship.

Number of Scholarships
The number of scholarships will be decided by the Committee of the Scholarship programme.

Scholarship
S$ 90,000* per student, which includes tuition fees, boarding, lodging and travel expenses for the two-year scholarship programme.
The scholarship amount includes a onetime return airfare & visa fee, tuition fee, and boarding & lodging at the hostel, one-time settling allowance and pocket allowance per month for daily expenses.

May 2017: Results of the Written Test and call for interviews to successful candidates only.
End May/Early June 2017: Interviews

Fair & Lovely Foundation Scholarships for Undergraduate and Post-graduate education

Eligibility
Women between 15-30 years who wish to pursue undergraduate or post graduate courses

Candidates who have passed 12th standard securing a minimum of 60% in 10th and 12th Std board exams
