PICASSO ART CONTEST is an international online art contest which is open for all children of age group 6 to 19 years old.
        However, some art contests are for 2 to 6 years old too. It has been started to motivate artistic and creative minds. The participants are from 69+ countries including USA, UK, INDIA, UAE, MALAYSIA, etc. This website has amazingly attracted art lovers from 129+ countries.
On the basis of ICE-PAPA approach (Innovation, Creativity, Engaging, Perfection, Age of Artist, Presentation and Artistic Ability).

Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme 2020-21

The CCRT is implementing Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme to provide facilities to outstanding talented children selected in the age group of  10 to 14 years (as per the cut off eligibility dates), studying either in recognized schools or belonging to families practicing traditional performing arts for getting specialized training in various cultural fields such as traditional forms of music, dance, drama, painting, sculpture, crafts and literary arts, laying special emphasis on rare art forms, which are in the process of becoming extinct. The scholarship awarded under the scheme is for two years at a time which is renewable after every two years till the completion of the first university degree stage of education or up to the age of 20 years, whichever is earlier, subject to awardees maintaining satisfactory progress.

Logo Design Contest for National Bamboo Mission

Bamboo has been the lifeline of rural India since time immemorial. With the passage of time and development of technologies leading to new usage, the 'green gold' has turned into a potential game changer for rural economy - for the farmer and industry equally.
With this background and number of progressive measures including the amendment of the Indian Forest Act to remove bamboo outside forests from the definition of 'trees', the restructured National Bamboo Mission (NBM) was launched in 2018-19 for the development of complete value chain of bamboo sector linking growers (farmers) with industry starting from raising quality planting material, plantation, creation of facilities for collection, aggregation, processing, micro, small & medium enterprises, skill development and brand building initiative in a cluster approach mode.

Discovering the Skill Stars of India #IndiaKeSkillStar

IndiaSkills Competition is the national skill competition in India held every two years. It provides a platform for skilled and talented Indian youngsters to showcase their abilities at state, regional and national level competitions in over 50 skills. The Regional competitions are organized across 5 zones, culminating at the national competition in Delhi.

Winners of IndiaSkills will then get a chance to represent the country at the WorldSkills International Competition to be held in China in 2021.

Design a Logo for National Council for Vocational Education & Training

The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) notified the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), on 5th December 2018, as a non-statutory regulatory body, by merging the National Council for Vocational Training and National Skill Development Agency.

Objective:
NCVET has been set up as an overarching regulatory body mandated to regulate both long and short-term vocational training in the country and is in the process of being operationalized.

Mandate/Functions:
The NCVET will regulate the functioning of entities engaged in Vocational Education & Training (VET) and establish uniform standards for the functioning of such entities. Major functions are-
i. Recognition and regulation of Awarding Bodies, Assessment Agencies and Skill Information Providers
ii. Approval of Qualifications
iii. Monitoring and supervision of recognized entities
iv. Grievance redressal

In order to proceed further, the National Council of Vocational Education and Training plans to conduct a competition to design a LOGO for NCVET. The logo would give visual identity to NCVET, Government of India. The LOGO & design should capture the importance of the Skill Development ecosystem in the country and essence of the organization according to the objective and the functions of NCVET.

A best suitable LOGO will be selected and finalized by the evaluation committee and winner will be awarded a token of award for Rs 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) in addition to a certificate of appreciation. There is no registration fee and no other expenditure will be paid to the participant.

The last date for submission is by midnight of 31st December, 2019 on ‘My Gov Portal’.

The participants are also requested to submit half-page write up on the designed LOGO to describe the meaning and significance of tools, shades, colours used and also the reason why LOGO is useful and suitable for the newly established regulator-NCVET.

The aim is to look for local solutions to the local problems by the local entrepreneurs.

This Hackathon is to be conducted across four locations of India namely RAIPUR (CHHATTISGARH), KOZHIKODE (KERALA), RAJKOT (GUJARAT) and CHANDIGARH (UT). It aims to Support & Showcase potentially great Ideas/talent from across the country by reaching out to their City.

#OpenGovDataHack2019 is for development of Citizen Centric Solutions through Mobile/Web Apps, Dashboards, Bots, etc. using AI & ML, IoTand other latest technologies by using Open Data. One of the data should be sourced from Open Government Data Platform.

THE HACKATHON/CHALLENGE WILL BE IN TWO PHASES:
PHASE 1 CITY CHALLENGE
Release of Problem Statements: Area-wise problem statements will be released on event.data.gov.in
Registration: MSMEs, StartUps and Entrepreneurs have to register city-wise to participate in the challenge.
Creation of Prototype: After closing of the registration, the registered MSMEs/ StartUps/Entrepreneurs to work offline on the prototype of the solution and upload it in the portal. Use of datasets from OGD Platform is mandatory.
Onsite City Presentation: City level presentation will be conducted at all cities. A city-level Jury will judge all the presentations and choose 2 winners and 2 runner-ups. These 4 city winners will be rewarded with cash award and eligible for Final Challenge.
2 awards @Rs 15000 each for Winners & 2 awards @Rs 10000 for runner-ups. Certificates would be issued to all participants
PHASE 2 NATIONAL CHALLENGE
Selected Apps/Solutions prototypes from Phase– I will be given around 10 days’ time to make it a full-fledged product and submit it.
A National Jury will be formed to see the final presentations and choose 3 winners.
The Winners will be awarded with Cash Award worth 6 Lakhs in a National Award Ceremony.

MYGOV.IN EAT RIGHT QUIZ

‘Eat Right’ Quiz is an initiative by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to create awareness among people across the country regarding food safety, nutrition, healthy eating habits and sustainable food practices. This activity aims to engage, excite and enable citizens to improve their food habits and consequently their health and well being through an interactive learning process.

The Eat Right Quiz contains multiple choice questions based on the three themes of the ‘Eat Right India’ movement launched by FSSAI, namely ‘Eat Safe’, ‘Eat Healthy’ and ‘Eat Sustainable’.  These questions are designed to motivate citizens to think and learn about various matters related to food such as diseases resulting from unsafe and unhealthy diets, food adulteration, safe food practices, good personal and surrounding hygiene and sanitary practices, balanced diet, fortified foods, healthy eating habits, managing food waste and environment-friendly food practices. Through this fun and interactive quiz, participants would have the opportunity to not only test their knowledge about food and win attractive prizes but also learn about the latest issues around food.

The overall objective of the Eat Right Quiz is to bring about social and behavioural change among citizens to adopt healthy eating habits through the MyGov platform.

3. State level Finals - Winners and runner-ups of each competition skill from the three zones will stand off at the grand finale organized at Swapna Nagari Ground, Calicut.
