Gitanjali Awards presents Acharya Devo Bhavah – a contest for school children
5th September is Teachers Day and it’s time to celebrate your teachers!
Write a quote for your favourite teacher and send it to us.
For the Top 10 prize winning entries, Gitanjali Awards will create a plaque/memento with the prize winning quote and deliver it to the teacher. Special Trophies for the prize winning students as well.
Contest Guidelines:
The contest will be divided into two groups
• Junior- Class 5 to 8
• Senior-class 9 to 12.
This contest is open for school children from India.
One child is allowed only one entry.
Anybody sending more than one entry will be disqualified.
The quote should be original, in English, and within the word limit of 40 words.
The contest is open from 5th September to 15th September.
Results will be declared by 15th October.
The prize winning entries will be chosen by Prof Bikram Bahinipati- Professor in Operations Management, Associate Dean & Chairperson- Admissions, Xavier Institute of Management, Xavier University, Bhubaneswar.
His past experience includes teaching at IIM, Kozhikode.
Professor Bahinipati obtained his MTech from IIT Kharagpur and PhD from IIT Delhi.
He is a vivid reader and an active researcher in Supply Chain Management and has published a large number of research papers in Peer-Reviewed High Impact Factor International Journals.
