This Olympiad is designed to assess a child’s creative abilities and his/her achievement motivation. This Olympiad will unearth hidden talents and encourage children who may have felt discouraged, to participate in the learning process more willingly and meaningfully with a renewed sense of self-belief and self-confidence. This assessment would naturally lead to the child’s inclination to improve upon the same and search for resources in that direction. Given an appropriate environment this will lead to enhanced creativity and achievement motivation.
Eligibility
The National Creativity Olympiad is open for students of standard 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th
Structure of NCO
For each standard there will be separate tests in which student’s creative thinking and logical reasoning abilities will be tested.Test will be conducted in two phases, School Level Exam (SLE) & National Level Exam (NLE).
School Level Exam will be a offline test (OMR based) conducted at the School end and two top performing student of each standard from each school alongwith students having more than 90 percentile score in School Level Exam will qualify for National Level Exam.
National Level Exam will be an online test (Internet based) conducted at the School end. Apart from MCQ’s there will be subjective questions on creativity and question based test to assess the achievement motivation of the child.
Question Paper

The participants have to answer 100 multiple choice questions in 100 minutes.
Exam Timing: 08:50 to 11:00 am
National Level Exam
The participants have to answer 60 multiple choice questions with subjective questions testing creativity followed by a test of achievement motivation.
Examination Fee
Students can enroll for the NCO by paying Rs. 200 to their respective teacher coordinators. Student can also purchase NCO Practice Book for Rs. 50. The School is requested to retain Rs. 30 per child enrolled towards its expenses which includes bank charges, postal charges, and honorarium for the Teachers in-charge etc.NCO Registration Fee: Rs. 200

How to Participate
One teacher should be NCO coordinator; She/He should disseminate information about NCO in Students and encourage them for participating in NCO. If you need registration cum information form for distribution to Students/Parents, kindly contact us.
Please send single consolidated Demand Draft for the exam fee of all the students appearing for NCO from your School after retaining the school share.
Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of “Creative Olympiad” payable at New Delhi. DD should reach us on or before 25 Aug, 2020.
Schools are requested to encourage the students to participate more. Any school to qualify as a center for exam will require at least 100 enrollments from school across all standards.

General Guidelines
The medium of the objective test will be English.
The School Level Exam will be an OMR based offline test conducted during school hours between 08:50 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
The National Level Exam will be an online test conducted at School.
School needs to provide information about the participating student as per the student information form.
Each school shall be provided a unique regsitration code after the registration.
NCO Awards & Accolades: Students
For each standard winners will be declared and they will receive cash prize as mentioned below:
1st Prize: Rs. 15,000
2nd Prize: Rs. 10,000
3rd Prize: Rs. 7,000
Next 15 Rank Holders: Rs. 1000 each
SLE Grade Toppers (Top three) in each school will be awarded Medals.
Rank 1 - Gold Medal, Rank 2 - Silver Medal and Rank 3 - Bronze Medal.
SLE Grade Topper Medals are awarded, if minimum 20 students participate from a grade.
SLE Grade Toppers must secure 75 percentile or above to qualify for Medals.
All students securing more than 75 percentile in the SLE test will get "Certificate of Excellence". All others will get a "Certificate of Participation".
NCO Awards & Accolades: Schools
Creative School Award will be given to one of the participating Schools on the basis of maximum number of Students in the top 10 percentile from the School. Cash Prize of Rs. 30000/- will be given to the winning school.
