Bhaskaracharya Pratishthan, a globally recognized institute in the field of education and research in mathematics, is proud to announce the 2024-25 edition of the Bhaskaracharya Mathematical Talent Search Competition (BMTSC). The competition, launched in 2014-15, celebrates the 900th birth year of the legendary Indian mathematician Bhaskaracharya II and aims to identify and nurture young mathematical talents across the country.
About BMTSC
The Bhaskaracharya Mathematical Talent Search Competition is designed to:
- Identify students with an aptitude for mathematics.
- Encourage logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Inspire students to perform well in competitive examinations through an exciting and enriching mathematical journey.
Past Success Stories
We are proud of the achievements of our participants:
- Aditya Venkata Ganesh, who secured the 1st position in BMTSC 2017 and 2018, went on to win a Gold Medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2024.
- Siddharth Choppara, 3rd place winner in BMTSC 2017, received an honorable mention.
- Many other participants have cleared the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) and attended prestigious Mathematics Camps in India and abroad.
Competition Format
- Round 1: An objective-type online exam.
- Date: Sunday, 8th December 2024
- Mode: Online
- Round 2: Final examination for selected students.
- Date: Sunday, 2nd February 2025
- Mode: Details will be communicated to eligible students.
Prizes and Rewards
- All participants will receive a certificate.
- Successful candidates will win exciting prizes.
- Top performers will be eligible for a free nurture training camp to further enhance their mathematical skills.
