Standard Examination in High School Science SEHSS 2025: A Golden Opportunity for Young Science Enthusiasts

Are you a high school student passionate about science? The Standard Examination in High School Science (SEHSS), conducted by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), is a unique chance for students to test their knowledge and gain national recognition!



📌 What is SEHSS?

The SEHSS is a national-level voluntary examination designed especially for students studying in Class 10 or lower (as of 30 November 2025). It is open to students from all boards — CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, Open Schools, and even International Boards!


🗓️ Important Dates

  • Enrollment Opens: 21st September 2025, 6:00 AM

  • Enrollment Closes: 5th October 2025, 6:00 PM

  • Date of Examination: Sunday, 30th November 2025

  • Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM


Eligibility

  • Students must be in Class 10 or below on 30 November 2025.

  • Especially useful for students who could not apply for NSEJS 2025.

  • No age or board restriction.

  • Stress-free, voluntary exam to boost confidence and academic excellence.


📚 Exam Format

  • Total Questions: 60 Questions

    • 48 Objective Questions: Single correct option.

    • 12 Objective Questions: May have 1, 2, 3, or 4 correct options.

  • Equal weightage: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics — all at Class 10 level.


💸 Exam Fee

  • Rs. 300/- (₹)

  • $20.00 USD for overseas students.
