National Standard Examination (NSE) 2025

The National Standard Examinations (NSE) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, and Junior Science are prestigious national-level tests conducted by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT). They serve as the first stage for India’s participation in the International Olympiads in these subjects.

🗂️ Centre Registration

🧑‍🎓 Student Enrollment

  • Mode: Through the centre in-charge OR by the individual student.

  • When: 21 August to 14 September 2025

Eligibility Criteria

For NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, and NSEA:

  • Open to students in Class 12, 11, or 10 as of 30 November 2025.

  • Date of birth must be between 1 July 2006 and 30 June 2011 (both dates inclusive).

  • Syllabus: Up to Class 12 CBSE India.

For NSEJS (Junior Science):

  • Open to students in Class 10, 9, or 8 as of 30 November 2025.

  • Date of birth must be between 1 January 2011 and 31 December 2012 (both dates inclusive).

  • Syllabus: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology up to Class 10 CBSE India.
