MyGov.in Constitution Day Essay Contest

The Indian Law Institute along with the Ministry of Law and Justice is organizing an all-India essay competition on the below mentioned themes.

Objective: To celebrate the Constitution Day on 26th November 2019 in order to commemorate 70 years of the adoption of the Indian Constitution and also to make people aware about the fundamental duties. The Indian Law Institute, New Delhi in collaboration with the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, is organising an all-India essay completion.



Themes for the essays:

1. Junior (Students up to X) [Any of the below]
• Importance of fundamental duties for nation
• Salient features of Indian Constitution
• History of Indian Constitution

2. Senior (Students of X to XII) [Any of the below]
• Role of Citizens in upholding sovereignty, unity and integrity of India
• Our duty to safeguard public property and abjure violence
• Basic Structure of Indian Constitution

3. Open (Any person) [Any of the below]
• Securing Rights by following duties
• Building New India – Role of citizens duties
• Citizen Duties nurturing the spirit of Nationalism

Last Date of submission of entries is 26th January, 2020
