As in previous years the ISRO Centres in Kerala (VSSC, LPSC and IISU) are celebrating World Space Week during October 4-10, 2019. The theme for 2019 is ‘The Moon: Gateway to the Stars’. All Kerala Quiz Competition planned on October 5, 2019 at Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Thrissur and Kozhikode simultaneously.
Programme Overview
The quiz will be conducted with the theme "Space".
Students from class 8th to 12th can participate in the competition.
The programme is tentatively fixed as given below.
Date & Time: October 5th, 2019, Saturday; 08:30am to 02:00pm.

Registration
This is a team event with each team consisting of two students.
Students may register at the Registration Portal in the World Space Week-2019 Website.
Students are free to choose their venue as per convenience and the same should be indicated during online registration.
A school can nominate maximum two teams for the event. Each team can consist of students from high school & higher secondary sections, but only two teams (four students) shall be nominated from a school.
In case of more than two registrations from one school, the teams which has registered first will be eligible to participate in the event.

Preferred Venue:
After online registration, students will be able to download the registration form with the details. This form shall be duly signed by the Head of the Institution and brought to the Venue on the day of the quiz competition.
General Instructions to participants
Applicants shall have to make their own arrangements to reach the venue. No transport allowance will be provided.
Last of date of registration for the quiz is 29th September, 2019.
The students will be given confirmation about the programme through e-mail / phone which he/she has provided during registration.
Light refreshment and lunch packets will be provided at the venue for participants and one accompanying person.
It is not compulsory to wear school uniform for the event.
Prizes:
Three top scoring teams will be declared as winners at each venue.
Prizes carry a Certificate and Cash award.
All the students will be provided with participation certificates and student kits.
Prize distribution follows the event.
