Owlypia – The Intellectuals’ Challenge

Owlypia – The Intellectuals’ Challenge is an international platform for students aged 11-14 (Owlets) and 15-18 (Owlys).
A platform where you think, write, discuss and enjoy!

“Challenge your limits intellectually!” is the spirit of Owlypia. It aims to inspire intellectual curiosity and develop research skills and academic confidence in young minds.

How does Owlypia work?
Owlypia consists of ONLINE tests for everyone, 2-day LOCAL events in different countries and 4-day GLOBAL events at the most prestigious institutions around the world.

1. Owlypia ONLINE
Take the online test in your favourite subject area and get ready for the Owlypia Locals and Globals.

2. Owlypia LOCALS
Challenge yourself intellectually in your city/country as a team before Owlypia Globals.

3. Owlypia GLOBALS
Experience the Owlypia spirit globally! Be part of this academically stimulating and exciting event.

“Leadership: Inspire Change” is the theme of the year 2019-2020! Owlypia has five main subjects and Common Ground.

Young intellectuals are expected to select their favourite subject and focus on it. The study resources contain several films and videos to watch, alongside a range of books and articles to read. Some thought-provoking questions provided with each subject should be used to guide one’s research.

You may find all the resources for Owlets (aged 11-14) and Owlys (15-18) below.
