United Schools Organisation of India (USO) announced the 581h Annual All-India UN Information Test to be held on Monday, the 31st August, 2015 throughout the country.
Test is divided into the following three categories ·
Senior for Students of classes : 10th to 12th
Pre-Senior for Students of classes : 7th to 9th
Junior for students of classes : 5th and 6th
For each category, the question paper will be different.
The Test will be of two-hours duration. The candidates will have to bring their own Pen, and Answer sheets. The question paper will be of 100 marks and will contain questions on the UN Charter, its activities, administration, history of the United Nations and elementary information about its Specialised Agencies.
Fee: Rs. 40 per candidate
Last date for registration: 20th of August, 2015
Results, Certificates and Prizes
The results of the Test will be declared on 24th October, 2015 so as to synchronize with the UN Day. Successful candidates will be awarded UN Information Test Certificates. Certificates of successful candidates will be despatched by 31st January, 2016. Cash prizes are given to the 6 rank holders in each category as given below.
2 First Prizes - Rs. 1000/- each
2 Second zes - Rs. 750/- each
2 Third Prizes - Rs. 500/- each
Besides cash prizes, special Merit Certificates will also be awarded to the prize winners. Photographs of the first, second and third prize winners will be published in themonthly official newsletter the World lnformo.
