Eligibility: Children up to 15 years of age as on 31.03.2014

Content and Form: Composition must be presented in the form of letter not exceed 800 words length on the given subject

Date and Time: Sunday 5th January 2014 10:00 am to 11:00 am

 Language: English or any language listed in the 8th schedule of the Constitution of India

Last Date for submission of forms:  21.12.2013

Prizes (At National Level)
One First Prize : Rs. 2000/- and certificate
One Second Prize : Rs. 1500/- and certificate
One Third Prize : Rs. 1000/- and certificate
Consolation prizes : Rs. 250/- to the best entry from each Postal Circle and certificate

The best entry at the national level shall qualify as the official Indian Entry for the International Competition

Each and every entry must have the following details on its first page

NCFE-National Financial Literacy Assessment Test

It is India’s first of it’s kind national-level test to measure the level of financial literacy among school students.  The Assessment would test students about their basic financial knowledge on topics such as money, budgeting, investment, banking, savings, insurance, retirement planning and financial planning.  Targeted towards school students of Classes VIII to X, this is the first of it’s kind test in India aimed at encouraging students to obtain basic financial skills and also giving a measure of Financial Literacy of students at the national-level.
